วิจัยฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อหาเส

วิจัยฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อหาเส้นทางการขนส่งสินค้าใหม่เพื่อลดระยะทางในการขนส่ง โดยทำตัวอย่างเส้นทางการวิ่งรถขนส่งที่มีปัญหา Productivity ไม่ถึงเป้าหมายที่ทางแผนกขนส่งกำหนดไว้ ซึ่งเป็นพื้นที่ในเขตจังหวัดนนทบุรี โดยปัจจุบันมีรถที่ใช้ขนส่งในเส้นทางนี้จำนวน 3 คัน ศึกษาลูกค้ารายใหญ่ของบริษัท จำนวน 30 ราย แบ่งเป็นคันละ 10 ราย โดยทำการแบ่งเขตพื้นที่การให้บริการเป็น 3 เขตพื้นที่ก่อน จากนั้นหาระยะห่างของจุดขนส่งแต่ละจุดโดยทำการใช้ฐานข้อมูลจาก Google Map ซึ่งมีมาตรฐานมีหน่วยระยะทางเป็นกิโลเตร จากนั้นทำการจัดเส้นทางการขนส่งใหม่ด้วยอัลกอริทึมแบบประหยัด (Saving Algorithm) หาค่า Saving Values เพื่อหาเส้นทางที่สามารถเชื่อมต่อกันได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพมากที่สุดด้วย โปรแกรม Microsoft Excel ในการจัดตารางและคำนวณหาระยะทาง จากนั้นใช้วิธีการจัดลำดับลูกค้าในแต่ละเส้นทางด้วยวิธี Arbitrary Insertion เพื่อหาระยะทางที่สั้นที่สุดในการวิ่งรถขนส่งสินค้า ผลการศึกษาทำให้ได้เส้นทางการขนส่งที่เหมาะสม คือ รถคันที่ 1 ระยะทางในปัจจุบัน 163.4 กิโลเมตร หลังทำการใช้ทฤษฎีทั้ง 2 อย่างระยะทางลดลงเหลือ 130.4 กิโลเมตร รถคันที่ 2 ระยะทางในปัจจุบัน 203.2 กิโลเมตร หลังทำการใช้ทฤษฎีทั้ง 2 อย่างระยะทางลดลงเหลือ 176.65 กิโลเมตรและ รถคันที่ 3 ระยะทางในปัจจุบัน 252.5 กิโลเมตร หลังทำการใช้ทฤษฎีทั้ง 2 อย่างระยะทางลดลงเหลือ 227.8 กิโลเมตร
