การวิจัยในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) พัฒนาความสามารถด้านการฟังภาษาอังกฤษ โดยใช้สื่อมัลติมีเดียเรื่อง Occupations ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 โรงเรียนโกสุมวิทยาสรรค์ 2) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 ก่อนและหลังได้รับการสอนโดยใช้สื่อมัลติมีเดียเรื่อง Occupations โดยกำหนดเกณฑ์ คือผู้เรียนร้อยละ 70 สามารถผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 ขึ้นไป กลุ่มเป้าหมายคือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2558 โรงเรียนโกสุมวิทยาสรรค์ จำนวน 34 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ได้แก่ 1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้สื่อมัลติมีเดีย รายวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ จากหนังสือ New world 2 หน่วยการเรียนรู้ที่ 9 รวม 3 แผน ใช้เวลาในการสอน 60 นาที ทั้งหมด 9 ชั่วโมง 2) แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนรู้ก่อนและหลังเรียน เป็นแบบที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้น จำนวน 20 ข้อ 3) สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล คือ ค่าเฉลี่ย ความเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบค่า t
