บทบาทของคณะกรรมการติดตามโครงการ Project Steering Committee (PSC)
• คณะกรรมการติดตามโครงการมีบทบาทอย่างยิ่งในการให้คำปรึกษา และ ให้ข้อคิดเห็นที่หลากหลายจากกลุ่มสหวิชาชีพที่สำคัญ ในพื้นที่ ซึ่งเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการดำเนินโครงการ LCS เป็นอย่างมาก เช่น การให้ข้อเสนอแนะในการเพิ่มจำนวนโรงเรียน ในกิจกรรมด้านการศึกษา กองทุนสนับสนุนครัวเรือน ให้กับเด็กที่มีความเสี่ยงต่อการออกจากโรงเรียนกลางคัน อีกทั้ง ยังเสนอ ให้มีการศึกษาความต้องการของตลาด เพื่อสนับสนุนกิจกรรมพัฒนาทักษะอาชีพให้กับกลุ่มแม่บ้าน เป็นต้น

• มีบทบาทในการเป็นพื้นที่ เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลข่าวสาร ระหว่างหน่วยงานภาครัฐ ภาคประชาสังคม องค์กรชุมชน และชุมชน เพื่อสร้างความเข้าใจอันดีต่อกัน และส่งเสริมสนับสนุนให้การดำเนินโครงการต่าง ๆ เป็นไปอย่างราบรื่น



การส่งเสริมทักษะอาชีพให้กับกลุ่มเยาวชน (Vocational training for youth)
ตั้งแต่ปี 2556 โครงการ LCS ร่วมกับองค์กรภาคี และหน่วยงานภาครัฐ รวมถึงชุมชน ได้ร่วมกันจัดทำกิจกรรมเพื่อส่งเสริมทักษะอาชีพให้กับกลุ่มเยาวชนจำนวน 4 การฝึกอบรม ได้แก่
1. การฝึกอบรมเจ้าหน้าที่พัฒนาชุมชน ปี 2556 โดยมีผู้เข้าร่วมจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 30 คน
2. การฝึกอบรมหลักสูตรภาษาไทยจำนวน 60 ชั่วโมง โดยได้รับการสนับสนุนหลักสูตร และผู้ฝึกสอนจากวิทยาลัยชุมชนตาก ในปี 2557 โดยมีผู้เข้าร่วมจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 22 คน
3. การฝึกอบรมหลักสูตรเจ้าหน้าที่พัฒนาชุมชนจำนวน 85 ชั่วโมง โดยหลักสูตรดังกล่าว เป็นหลักสูตรใหม่ ที่ได้มีการพัฒนาร่วมกันระหว่าง วิทยาลัยชุมชนตาก และ ไอ โอ เอ็ม ในการจัดทำหลักสูตรที่เกี่ยวเนื่องกับงานพัฒนาชุมชน เพื่อส่งเสริมทักษะอาชีพให้กับเยาวชนที่มีความต้องการในการทำงานด้านพัฒนาชุมชน ซึ่งจากการศึกษาในพื้นที่ พบว่าเป็นกลุ่มอาชีพที่ตลาดแรงงานมีความต้องการ ในการอบรมครั้งนี้ มีผู้เข้าร่วมจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 29 คน
4. การฝึกอบรมหลักสูตร การพัฒนาศักยภาพความเป็นผู้นำ โดยผู้ฝึกสอนจาก มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ในการฝึกอบรมดังกล่าว มีผู้เข้าร่วมอบรมทั้งสิ้น 20 คน

• เยาวชนมีทักษะอาชีพ เพื่อนำไปสู่การมีงานทำในอนาคต.

• ก่อให้เกิดเครือข่ายการร่วมมือจากกลุ่มเยาวชนที่ได้เข้ารับการฝึกอบรมทักษะอาชีพที่มีความหลากหลาย.
• สร้างความเข้าใจอันดีต่อกันระหว่างกลุ่มเยาวชน และ เป็นการแลกเปลี่ยนทักษะความรู้ นำไปสู่การอยู่ร่วมกันอย่างสันติ.

การส่งเสริมทักษะอาชีพให้กับกลุ่มผู้หญิง (Vocational training for woman)
กิจกรรมอบรมทักษะอาชีพให้แก่กลุ่มสตรีในปี 2556 ได้มีการจัดทำ 3 การฝึกอบรม ได้แก่
 การฝึกอบรมทักษะอาชีพการร้อยคริสตัล
 การฝึกอบรมทักษะอาชีพการเย็บกระเป๋าผ้า
 การฝึกอบรมทักษะอาชีพการทำอาหาร

ในปี 2557 ได้มีการจัดการฝึกอบรมทักษะอาชีพ ให้แก่กลุ่มสตรี ดังนี้
 การฝึกอบรมทักษะอาชีพ การทำเครื่องดื่มร้อน – เย็น
 การฝึกอบรมทักษะอาชีพ การทำขนม
 การฝึกอบรมทักษะอาชีพ การซ่อมแซมผ้า
 การฝึกอบรมทักษะอาชีพ การปักผ้าคลุมผม และ การเย็บกระเป๋าจากเชือกร่ม

ผลสัมฤทธิ์ของกิจกรรม
• กลุ่มสตรีมีทักษะการประกอบอาชีพ นำไปสู่การมีงานทำ
• ช่วยส่งเสริมเศรษฐกิจในครัวเรือน และชุมชน
• ลดโอกาสปัญหาสังคม ที่เกิดจากความยากจน เช่น การลักขโมย ความรุนแรงในครอบครัว การด้อยการศึกษา
• ส่งเสริมคุณค่าของผู้หญิงในการมีส่วนร่วมในการสร้างรายได้ให้แก่ครอบครัว
• ส่งเสริมความอบอุ่นในครอบครัว
• ส่งเสริมศักยภาพผู้หญิงให้มีบทบาทและมีส่วนร่วมในการพัฒนาชุมชน

กองทุนสนับสนุนครัวเรือน Household Support Fund (HSF)
ไอ โอ เอ็ม ได้จัดทำการสำรวจเกี่ยวกับปัญหาและความต้องการในการส่งบุตรหลานเข้าสู่ระบบการศึกษา กับชุมชนแรงงานในพื้นที่แม่สอดจำนวน 638 ครัวเรือน
ปี 2556 มีเด็กผู้ได้รับทุนจากกองทุนสนับสนุนครัวเรือน จากโรงเรียนอิสลามศึกษาทั้งสิ้นจำนวน 27 คน
ปี 2557 ได้มีการขยายกองทุน ไปสู่โรงเรียนสันถวไมตรีศึกษา จึงทำให้ในปี 2557 มีผู้ได้รับทุน จากกองทุนสนับสนุนครัวเรือนจากโรงเรียนอิสลามศึกษา จำนวน 25 คน และ จากโรงเรียนสันถวไมตรีศึกษา จำนวน 25 คน
