การศึกษาเรื่องสำนักงานคณะกรรมการอาหารและยาในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาอักษรย่อของสำนักงานคณะกรรมการอาหารและยา ( อย. ) และเพื่อให้ความรู้เรื่องเครื่องหมาย อย. แก่คนในชุมชน ดำเนินการโดยการศึกษาหาความรู้เกี่ยวกับเรื่อง อย. แล้วนำข้อมูลมาเรียบเรียงให้ง่ายขึ้น เพื่อนำไปให้ความรู้แก่ชุมชน กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นคนในชุมชนบ้านเวียงสวรรค์ ต.แม่เมาะ อ.แม่เมาะ จ.ลำปาง จำนวน 30 คน โดยใช้แบบสอบถามในการประเมินพบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีความเข้าใจในระดับมากเป็นอันดับที่ 1 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 46 มีความเข้าใจระดับปานกลางเป็นอันดับที่ 2 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 42 และมีความเข้าใจระดับน้อยเป็นอันดับที่ 3 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 12
