ครูมืออาชีพต้องมีคุณภาพการสอน สิ่งที่ครูมืออาชีพควรตระหนักเป็นอย่างยิ่งก็คือ “คุณภาพการสอน”
ซึ่งเป็นความสามารถที่จะสร้างสรรค์สิ่งแวดล้อมในการเรียนรู้ เพื่อส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนการเรียนรู้ของผู้เรียนทุกคน ครูมืออาชีพ จึงต้องมีความสามารถต่อไปนี้
1. สามารถประยุกต์ใช้ยุทธศาสตร์ และการจัดระบบ ได้อย่างเหมาะสมกับการเรียนรู้และความต้องการทางการศึกษาของผู้เรียน สภาพแวดล้อมของโรงเรียนและสาระการเรียนรู้ที่สอน
2. สามารถติดตามการเรียนรู้ผู้เรียนเป็นรายบุคคล ใช้ข้อมูลย้อนกลับเพื่อวางแผนให้สอดคล้องกับความต้องการของผู้เรียนเป็นรายบุคคล เป็นกลุ่มและเป็นชั้น
