การดำเนินโครงงานนี้คณะนักศึกษาสหกิจศึกษา ได้ศึกษาปัญหาของระบบเดิมของบริษัทที่มีอยู่ พบว่า ระบบเดิมนั้นไม่มีการจัดประเภทของภาพยนตร์ ทำให้การค้นหาข้อมูลนั้นทำได้ยาก อีกทั้งระบบเดิมยังไม่สามารถแก้ไขข้อมูลภาพยนตร์ที่มีอยู่ในฐานข้อมูลได้ ทำให้เกิดปัญหาเมื่อผู้ใช้งานระบบต้องการแก้ไขข้อมูลต่างๆ ของภาพยนตร์นั้น คณะนักศึกษาสหกิจศึกษาจึงได้นำปัญหาดังกล่าว มาแก้ปัญหาโดยการพัฒนาระบบขึ้นมาใหม่ให้มีประสิทธิภาพมากยิ่งขึ้น
