การวิจัยในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเสริมสร้างสัมพันธภาพในครอบครัวด้วยโปรแกรมภาษารัก เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย แบบวัดสัมพันธภาพในครอบครัว จำนวน 64 ข้อ ค่าความเชื่อมั่น เท่ากับ 0.94 และ โปรแกรมภาษารัก ที่ผู้วิจัยพัฒนาขึ้น ประกอบด้วย การเรียนรู้การฝึกทักษะต่าง ๆ ได้แก่ การสื่อสารทั้งภาษาพูด ภาษากาย การคิด การให้เหตุผล การเผชิญกับปัญหา และ การให้อภัย เรียนรู้ซึ่งกันและกัน
กลุ่มตัวอย่างในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ ครอบครัวที่มีบุตรวัยรุ่น ได้แก่ บิดา มารดา และ บุตรวัยรุ่นที่มีอายุ
13-15 ปี ที่มีคะแนนสัมพันธภาพในครอบครัว ต่ำกว่าเปอร์เซ็นต์ไทล์ที่ 25 ในจังหวัดภาคตะวันออก จำนวน 40 ครอบครัว สุ่มเข้ากลุ่ม (Random Assignment) เป็นกลุ่มทดลอง 20 ครอบครัว กลุ่มควบคุม 20 ครอบครัว โดยที่กลุ่มทดลอง ได้รับการอบรมตามโปรแกรมภาษารักที่ผู้วิจัยพัฒนาขึ้น จำนวน 6 ครั้ง สัปดาห์ละ 1 ครั้ง ครั้งละ 60 นาที ส่วนกลุ่มควบคุมดำเนินชีวิตตามวิถีชีวิตปกติ
ผลการวิจัยสรุป ดังนี้
