บุหลัน รันตี ชื่อจริง ไชโย สุวรรณ์

เกิดที่ ตำบลยางหย่อง อำเภอท่ายาง จังหวัดเพชรบุรี วันที่ 11 พฤษภาคม 2509 พออายุได้สิบสองปี ครอบครัวย้ายไปอยู่อำเภอสวนผึ้ง จังหวัดราชบุรี จนถึงปัจจุบัน

เขียนเรียงความให้เพื่อนนักเรียนโรงเรียนมัธยมส่งอาจารย์เรื่องละยี่สิบบาท เริ่มเขียนสารคดีเรื่องแรกเป็นสารคดีท่องเที่ยวตีพิมพ์ในนิตยสารแค้มปิ้ง คุณสมบูรณ์ บุญยดิษฐ์ เป็นบรรณาธิการ ได้ค่าเรื่องห้าร้อยบาท สมัยนั้นเรียนอยู่มัธยมศึกษาปีที่หก โรงเรียนราชโบริกานุเคราะห์ จังหวัดราชบุรี

ปัจจุบันดำรงตำแหน่งผู้จัดการไร่อุษาวดี ดำเนินกิจการด้านการท่องเที่ยว รีสอร์ท สวนอาหาร และสวนกุหลาบในลักษณะท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตร เป็นกรรมการสถานศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน เป็นประธานชมรมผู้ประกอบการท่องเที่ยวสวนผึ้ง – บ้านคา จังหวัดราชบุรี และประจำกองบรรณาธิการนิตยสารเย่อกับปลา
