รายงานการศึกษาค้นคว้าเรื่อง “ทำไมนักเรียนมัธยมปลายส่วนใหญ่ใส่ถุงเท้าข้อสั้น” มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อต้องการทราบถึงเหตุผลของนักเรียนมัธยมปลายส่วนใหญ่ใส่ถุงเท้าข้อสั้น โดยแจกแบบสอบถามให้กับนักเรียนมัธยมปลายจำนวน 60 ฉบับ แบ่งเป็น นักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 จำนวน 20 ฉบับ นักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 จำนวน 20 ฉบับ นักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาปีที่6 จำนวน 20 ฉบับ โดยสรุปผลดังนี้ นักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ใส่ถุงเท้าข้อสั้นคิดเป็นร้อยละ 80 นักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ใส่ถุงเท้าข้อสั้นคิดเป็นร้อยละ 70 และนักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ใส่ถุงเท้าข้อสั้นคิดเป็นร้อยละ 35 และจากแบบสอบถามได้ทราบถึงเหตุผลนักเรียนมัธยมปลายนิยมใส่ถุงเท้าข้อสั้นมีดังนี้ 1.ใส่ง่ายไม่ต้องพับดูดีกว่าการใส่แบบข้อยาว 2.ใส่แล้วสบายไม่ร้อน 3.สะดวกในการซักและสวมใส่ 4.เป็นที่นิยมของนักเรียนมัธยมปลายถ้าไม่ใส่แล้วจะเชย 5.สะดวกสบายใส่แล้วไม่ยาว 6.เก็บง่ายประหยัดเนื้อที่
