การศึกษาความคิดเห็นของนักศึกษาที่มีต่อวิธีการแก้ปัญหาการค้างชำระกองทุนกู้ยืมเพื่อการศึกษา มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่เป็นปัญหาและอุปสรรคในการชำระหนี้กองทุนกู้ยืมเพื่อการศึกษา และเพื่อศึกษาเกี่ยวกับวิธีการแก้ไขปัญหาการค้างชำระกองทุนกู้ยืมเพื่อการศึกษา
งานวิจัยนี้เป็นงานวิจัยเฉพาะกรณีเชิงคุณภาพ โดยกรณีเฉพาะสำหรับการวิจัยคือ นักศึกษา ชั้นปีที 4 ปีการศึกษา 2557 จำนวน 20 คน คณะวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลธัญบุรี จ.ปทุมธานี วิธีการดำเนินงานวิจัยมี 4 ขั้นตอน คือ 1) การกำหนดหน่วยวิเคราะห์ 2) การกำหนดเครื่องมือรวบรวมข้อมูลและการตรวจสอบคุณภาพเครื่องมือ 3) การรวบรวมข้อมูล และ 4) การเสนอข้อมูล
หน่วยการวิเคราะห์ คือ นักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 4 ปีการศึกษา 2557 จำนวน 20 คน คณะวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลธัญบุรี เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการรวบรวมข้อมูลคือแบบสอบถามทั้ง 3 ครั้ง โดยข้อคำถามที่ใช้ในแบบสอบถามในเรื่องเดียวกันที่ตรงตามวัตถุประสงค์ของการศึกษา โดยข้อคำถามคือ “ท่านมีข้อเสนอแนะเกี่ยวกับวิธีการแก้ไข้ปัญหาการค้างชำระกองทุนกู้ยืมเพื่อการศึกษาอย่างไรบ้าง”
ผลการวิจัย พบว่า ตามข้อเสนอแนะเกี่ยวกับวิธีการแก้ไข้ปัญหาการค้างชำระกองทุนกู้ยืมเพื่อการศึกษา มีลักษณะดังนี้ 1 ) รัฐบาลควรมีการจัดตลาดแรงให้กับนักศึกษาจบใหม่ 2) รัฐบาลควรมีการตรวจสอบสถานะผู้กู้รายเก่า 3) รัฐบาลควรเพิ่มช่องทางในการประชาสัมพันธ์ข่าวสาร 4) รัฐบาลควรลดดอกเบี้ยเงินกู้ 5) รัฐบาลควรยืดเวลาในการชำระหนี้ออกไปอีก6) สถานศึกษาควรมีการคัดเลือกผู้รับทุนให้เข้มงวดขึ้น 7) รัฐบาลควรเพิ่มบทลงโทษทางกฎหมายให้เด็ดขาด 8) สถานศึกษาควรปลูกฝังจิตสำนึกให้ผู้กู้ยืมรายเก่าตระหนักถึงผู้กู้ยืมรายใหม่
