8. Speexx (Self-Study) (10%)

There are no lab classes for Speexx. Students can do the exercises on their computers, on
their mobiles or in the language labs (A7-301 - A7-304). And they have to check their email
sent from LI about the Pre-test and Post-test. Weeks 3-5 are for the introduction and the Pre-test. Weeks 4-10 are for online practice. Weeks 11-13 are for the CEFR Post-test.
For the Pre-test, students automatically get 2 points just from taking the test, regardless of
their test scores.
For the Post-test, students must have finished at least 80% of the practice to be qualified for
the Post-test. Their Post-test scores will be calculated by the program.
