“พยาบาล…นางฟ้าของผู้ป่วย”

ฉันเชื่อว่า คนทุกคนบนโลกใบนี้เกิดมาต้องมีความฝันกันทุกคน บางคนก็ฝันอยากเป็นนักบินอวกาศ อยากเป็นแอร์โฮสเตส อยากเป็นทหารบ้าง อยากเป็นหมอบ้าง สิ่งเหล่านี้ล้วนแล้วแต่เป็นความฝัน ฉันเองก็เป็นคนที่มีความฝันอย่างใครหลายๆคนเช่นกัน และความฝันของฉันก็เริ่มต้นจากจุดเล็กๆ ก็คือ “ความชอบ”

ทุกครั้งที่ฉันไปที่โรงพยาบาล ฉันก็ได้พบกับผู้หญิงคนหนึ่งที่ใส่ชุดขาว ดูเธอมีเสน่ห์ น่ารัก และดูมีความเรียบร้อยไปในตัว สีหน้าและแววตาของเธอดูอ่อนโยน แต่แฝงไปด้วยความอดทนและเข้มแข็ง แรกที่ฉันพบเธอ ฉันคิดว่าเธอต้องเป็นทหาร หรืออะไรสักอย่าง พอมารู้ทีหลัง… คำตอบที่ฉันได้ เธอที่ฉันเฝ้ามองในวันนั้น เธอคือ “นางพยาบาล”

“พยาบาล” …อาจทำหน้าที่เป็นลูกน้องของหมอในการดูแลรักษาคนไข้ในโรงพยาบาล ต้องวิ่งวกไปวนมาในหลายๆแผนก ต้องเอาใจใส่คนไข้ทุกคนที่อยู่ในโรงพยาบาล แน่นอน!!เธอคนนั้น จะทำหน้าที่นี้ไปไม่ได้ หากปราศจากความเข้มแข็งและอดทนต่อสิ่งที่มารุมเร้าต่อตัวเธอในหลายๆอย่าง

“พยาบาล”…เธอคือผู้หญิงที่กล้าหาญ เข้มแข็ง อดทน และใจดีต่อคนทุกคนที่เข้ามา เธอยิ้มแย้ม และมีน้ำใจต่อผู้ป่วยทุกคน จนคนทั้งโรงพยาบาลตั้งให้เธอเป็น “นางฟ้าของผู้ป่วย” ….

อาชีพพยาบาล เป็นอาชีพที่แฝงด้วยเกียรติและศักดิ์ศรี เป็นอาชีพที่ดูมีค่าและสูงส่งไม่แพ้กับหมอ เพราะอาชีพพยาบาล เป็นอาชีพที่เรียกได้ว่า “เสียสละส่วนตัวเพื่อส่วนรวมเป็นส่วนใหญ่” … ต้องทุ่มเทและใส่ใจชีวิตและจิตใจของผู้ป่วยที่ต้องเข้ารับการรักษาอย่างสม่ำเสมอ ต้องอดทนต่อสิ่งที่รุมเร้า ไม่ว่าจะเป็นโรคภัยไข้เจ็บของผู้ป่วย สิ่งปฏิกูล ความวุ่นวาย ความเจ็บปวด อารมณ์ของผู้ป่วย …. ต่างๆนานา

ไม่ใช่ว่ามันจะเลวร้ายเสมอไป …. หากพยาบาลเป็น “นางฟ้า” ของผู้ป่วยอย่างแท้จริง เธอต้องทำหน้าที่ที่จะต้องทำให้ผู้ป่วยทุกๆคน มีอาการที่ดีขึ้น … นี่คือ บทหนักของอาชีพพยาบาล

สำหรับเส้นทางของฉัน การสอบเข้าคณะพยาบาลศาสตร์ให้ได้นั้น ถือได้ว่าเป็นเพียงแค่การก้าวขึ้นไปยังขั้นบันไดเพียงขั้นแรก และเมื่อเราก้าวขึ้นไปขั้นแรกได้แล้ว …. ขั้นสูงสุดของความฝันคือ “การที่ฉันได้สละชีวิตส่วนตัวเพื่อความสุขแด่ผู้ป่วยทุกคนในโรงพยาบาล” … หากฉันได้เป็นพยาบาล และได้ประสบความสำเร็จในการทำหน้าที่พยาบาลที่ดีต่อคนไข้แล้ว นี่ก็ถือเป็นบันไดขั้นสูงสุด ที่ฉันได้ตั้งเป้าหมายเอาไว้ …. ^_^
