แป้งสบู่ เป็นแป้งชนิดหนึ่งเกิดจากการผสมของสบู่ กาว น้ำและแป้งข้าวโพด มีคุณสมบัติจับตัวเป็นก้อน หรือทำให้เป็นแผ่นบางได้ มีความเหนียวพอที่จะปั้นเป็นรูปทรงต่าง ๆ เมื่อแห้งจะหดตัวเล็กน้อย แต่ไม่ทำให้เสียรูปทรงและมีกลิ่นหอมอ่อน ๆ ของสบู่ เหมาะที่จะนำมาเป็นวัสดุในการปั้นดอกไม้ ใบไม้

3. เมื่อต้องการให้แป้งมีสี ก็แบ่งแป้งออกจากถุงใส่สีที่ต้องการลงไปนวดกับแป้ง ก็จะได้แป้งที่มีสีตามต้องการ (สีทุกชนิดไม่ต้องนำไปผสมน้ำ)
- ครีมทาผิว ใช้ทามือเพียงเล็กน้อย อย่าใช้มากและไม่ควรนำครีมผสมกับแป้งเพราะจะทำให้แป้งมีลักษณะหนืด นำมาใช้ปั้นไม่ได้
- สามารถใช้แป้งมันสำประหลังแทนแป้งข้าวโพดได้
