วนอุทยานไดโนเสาร์เชียงม่วน-แก่งหลวง ตั้งอยู่ที่บ้านหนองกลาง ต.บ้านมาง จากแยกบ้านบ่อเบี้ย ใช้ทางหลวงหมายเลข ๑๒๕๑ ไปทางอ.เชียงม่วนจนถึงสี่แยกบ้านมาง ให้เลี้ยวขวาไปประมาณ ๔ กิโลเมตร แล้วเลี้ยวขวาอีกครั้งบริเวณบ้านปงสนุกไปตามทางอีกประมาณ ๔ กิโลเมตรถึงวนอุทยานไดโนเสาร์เชียงม่วน-แก่งหลวง
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ไดโนเสาร์เชียงม่วนเป็นไดโนเสาร์ตัวแรกที่ค้นพบในภาคเหนือ ระหว่างปี พ.ศ. ๒๕๔๕ – ๒๕๕๒ นายวรวุธ สุธีธร นักโบราณชีววิทยา หัวหน้าคณะสำรวจของกรมทรัพยากรธรณีได้นำคณะสำรวจเข้ามาทำการขุดค้นซากดึกดำ บรรพ์ที่พบที่อ.เชียงม่วน จ.พะเยา พบซากกระดูกไดโนเสาร์วางตัวเรียงต่อกันในแนวทิศเหนือ-ทิศใต้ จำนวน ๑๐๔ ชิ้น ประกอบด้วยกระดูกคอ กระดูกสันหลัง กระดูกโคนหาง กระดูกสะโพกและกระดูกซี่โครง ผลการตรวจสอบทำให้ทราบว่าซากดึกดำบรรพ์ที่ค้นพบเป็นซากไดโนเสาร์ซอโรพอด ซึ่งมีคอยาว หางยาว เดิน ๔ ขา และกินพืชเป็นอาหาร ปัจจุบันยังไม่สามารถระบุชนิดได้ แต่พบว่ามีลักษณะต่างจากไดโนเสาร์ซอโรพอดชนิดอื่นๆที่เคยพบในประเทศไทย สันนิษฐานว่าอาจเป็นชนิดพบใหม่ของโลก เนื่องจากแหล่งที่พบเป็นพื้นที่ใหม่ที่เพิ่งมีการค้นพบซากดึกดำบรรพ์ของ ไดโนเสาร์เป็นครั้งแรก
