ความรู้สึกต่อวิชานี้คือ เป็นวิชาที่คนส่วนใหญ่ต่างละเลย เพราะคิดว่าเป็นพื้นฐานของวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ เลยไม่ตั้งใจที่จะเรียนวิชานี้ แต่เอาเข้าจริง วิชานี้สำคัญต่อฉันมาก เพราะเป็นการฝึกการอ่านเขียนให้เราคล่องขึน มีการพัฒนามากขึ้น ได้ฝึกการอ่าน การเขียน ทำให้รู้ว่าตอนนี้เราไม่ถนัดสิ่งใด และทำให้เราได้แก้ไขต่อปัญหาที่เกิดขึ้นได้ง่ายขึ้น
ก่อนที่ฉันจะเลือกสายในการศึกษาต่อระดับชั้น ม.4 ฉันคิดว่า วิชานี้คงเป็นวิชาที่ง่ายมาก และเป็นวิชาที่ใครๆก็เรียนได้เพราะขึ้นชื่อว่าภาษาอังกฤษ มันดูเป็นวิชาที่เบสิกมาก เพราะเริ่มเรียนภาษาอังกฤษมาตั้งแต่จำความได้ แต่พอได้เข้ามาเรียนวิชานี้ครั้งแรก ฉันรู้สึกตกใจมาก เพราะมันเขียนว่า ภาษาอังกฤษอ่าน-เขียน ก็ต้องเป็นแค่ อ่านบทความสั้นๆ และสอบ แต่จนถึงปัจจุบัน ฉันยังไม่เข้าใจตัวเองเลยว่า ฉันผ่านมาได้อย่างไร เพราะรู้สึกตัวเองเรียนไม่เก่งเลยสำหรับวิชานี้ และคิดว่าตัวเองพยายามอย่างดีที่สุดแล้ว แต่ก็ไม่ดีขึ้นเลย
