ในนามของกองทัพไทย ผมรู้สึกเป็นเกียรติ และมีความยินดีเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่ได้มีโอกาศเดินทางมาเยือนประเทศกัมพูชา ในฐานะแขกของกองทัพแห่งชาติกัมพูชาในครั้งนี้

วัตถุประสงค์ในการเยือนประเทศกัมพูชาของผม ก็เพื่อเชื่อมความสัมพันธไมตรี เนื่องในโอกาสที่ผมได้รับตำแหน่ง ผู้บัญชาการทหารสูงสุดของกองทัพไทย พร้อมทั้ง เพื่อสานต่อและพัฒนาความสัมพันธและความใกล้ชิดระหว่างกองทัพของประเทศทั้งสอง ซึ่งมีความแนบแน่นอยู่แล้ว ให้ดียิ่งขึ้น และยั่งยืนตลอดไป
