ใน พ.ศ.2495 ได้มีการฟื้นฟูศิลปะการทำต้นเทียน และการแห่เทียนพรรษาของ จังหวัดอุบลราชธานี มีการประกวดเทียนพรรษา 2 ประเภท คือ ประเภทมัดรวมติดลาย และประเภท ติดพิมพ์
