ปริญญานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษากระบวรการผลิตโดยใช้วัสดุคอมโพสิต โดยวัสดุที่เลือกใช้นั้นคือ คาร์บอนไฟเบอร์ ที่มีความแข็งแรงและน้ำหนักเบา มีแรงต้านการเกิดความเครียดในทิศทางต่างๆได้ และจะนำคาร์บอนไฟเบอร์ไปทำเป็นโครงจักรยาน เพื่อให้ได้คุณสมบัติที่เหมาะสมกับความต้องการในปัจจุบันของตลาดโลก และให้ได้ชิ้นงานที่มีความแข็งแรง ทนทานพอ รวมถึงการศึกษากระบวนการผลิตโดยวัสดุคอมโพสิตอย่างละเอียด เพราะว่าภายในประเทศไทยเอง กระบวนการทางด้านวัสดุนี้ยังไม่ได้รับการพัฒนาและศึกษาอย่างเต็มที่
โดยที่จะแบ่งการทำงานออกเป็นสองส่วนหลักๆได้แก่ การออกแบบโครงสร้าง และการศึกษาเกี่ยวกับกระบวนการผลิตชิ้นงาน โดยส่วนออกแบบนั้นจะออกแบบและคำนวณต่างๆผ่านทางโปรแกรมคอมพิวเตอร์เพื่อหาจุดที่เกิดแรง และความเครียดมากที่สุดเพื่อแก้ปัญหาเหล่านั้นในอนาคต ส่วนด้านการศึกษากระบวนการผลิตนั้นเราจะหาข้อมูลและทดลองสร้างจาก ท่อเล็กๆ ก่อนแล้วจึงนำไปสร้างเป็นโครงจักรยานในขั้นตอนสุดท้าย
