ASEAN (ASEAN, Association of South East Asian Nations) or the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. Was established by the Bangkok Declaration (Bangkok Declaration) dated 8 August 2510, by a country that is a member of the starting five countries: Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines. The country has sought to join an additional five countries, namely, Brunei, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia, respectively. The country has a total of 10 ASEAN countries.
