วัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัยครั้งนี้เพื่อ ศึกษาข้อมูลทั่วไปของผู้ใช้โทรศัพท์มือถือ ศึกษาการใช้โทรศัพท์มือถือ และ ศึกษาประโยชน์ที่ได้จากโทรศัพท์มือถือของนักศึกษา คณะวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี ชั้นปีที่ 1-3 มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏนครศรีธรรมราช กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ นักศึกษา คณะวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี ชั้นปีที่ 1-3 มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏนครศรีธรรมราช จำนวน 267 คน โดยใช้วิธีการสุ่มตัวอย่างอย่างง่าย เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการทำวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบสอบถามในการเก็บข้อมูล และ โปรแกรมสำเร็จรูป Spss for Windows ประมวลผลข้อมูล สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน สถิต t test สถิติ F test และ ค่า 2
