คณะผู้จัดทำได้เข้ารับการปฏิบัติโครงงานสหกิจศึกษา ณ โรงแรมเจดับบลิว แมริออท กรุงเทพฯ เป็นระยะเวลา 16สัปดาห์ ตั้งแต่วันที่ 24 สิงหาคม ถึง 11 ธันวาคม 2558 เนื่องจากนักศึกษาสหกิจที่มาปฏิบัติงานส่วนใหญ่ มักหยิบใช้อุปกรณ์และเครื่องมือต่างๆผิด รวมถึงพนักงานในแผนกจัดเลี้ยงบางคนก็ยังไม่รู้จักชื่ออุปกรณ์ที่ใช้อย่างถูกต้อง ทำให้มีการสื่อสารระหว่างการทำงานผิดพลาด จึงเกิดความล่าช้าในการทำงาน คณะผู้จัดทำจึงมองเห็นถึงปัญหาที่เกิดขึ้นและได้หาแนวทางแก้ไข จึงเกิดแนวคิดที่จะทำพจนานุกรมรูปภาพ ขึ้นเพื่อให้พนักงานสามารถใช้อุปกรณ์อย่างถูกต้องและเหมาะสม และได้เรียกชื่อและเรียนรู้คำศัพท์เฉพาะของสิ่งของนั้นๆได้อย่างถูกต้อง ได้รู้จักคำศัพท์ต่างๆ ของอุปกรณ์ที่เกี่ยวกับแผนกจัดเลี้ยงมากขึ้น เพื่อเป็นประโยชน์ในการจดจำชื่อเฉพาะของอุปกรณ์ จึงได้จัดทำพจนานุกรมรูปภาพสำหรับแผนกจัดเลี้ยง มีทั้งหมด 3 ภาษา ได้แก่ ภาษาไทย ภาษาอังกฤษ และภาษาญี่ปุ่น โดยในเนื้อหาโครงงานจะแบ่งออกเป็น 6 หมวด ดังนี้
หมวดที่ 1 เป็นรูปภาพ พร้อมคำศัพท์ 3 ภาษาของอุปกรณ์ในแผนกจัดเลี้ยงและห้องประชุม
หมวดที่ 2 เป็นรูปภาพพร้อมคำอธิบายในการจัดห้องประชุมในรูปแบบต่างๆ
หมวดที่ 3 เป็นรูปภาพพร้อมคำอธิบายในการจัดโต๊ะอาหารรูปแบบต่างๆ
หมวดที่ 4 อธิบายรายละเอียด รูปแบบการจัดเลี้ยง มีทั้งหมด 3 แบบ คือ 1. จัดแบบค็อกเทล 2. จัดแบบบุฟเฟต์ และ 3. จัดแบบ Set Menu
หมวดที่ 5 อธิบายเกี่ยวกับอุปกรณ์บนโต๊ะอาหารและแก้วแบบต่างๆ พร้อมรูปภาพประกอบ
หมวดที่ 6 อธิบายเกี่ยวกับแหล่งที่มา ความหมาย และ ความสำคัญ ของ Coffee Break (อาหารว่าง) รวมทั้ง ประเภท ชนิด และ ลักษณะ ของ Coffee Break (อาหารว่าง)
