กลุ่มเป้าหมายที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้คือ นักเรียนในระดับชั้นประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพชั้นสูง (พิเศษ)ชั้นปีที่ 1จํานวน 29 คน ที่ลงทะเบียนเรียนวิชาการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ (2000-304) ในภาคเรียน ที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2553 โรงเรียนพณิชยการลานนา ตําบลช้างเผือกอําเภอเมืองจังหวัดเชียงใหม่
