ที่มาและความสำคัญของโครงงาน
สภาพปัญหาในปัจจุบันคือการที่หนุ่มสาวหันหลังให้กับการทอผ้าไหมเพราะต้องเข้ามาขายแรงงานในเขตเมืองนอกจากนี้การแต่งตัวแบบเอกลักษณ์ดั้งเดิมของชาวบ้านก็เริ่มหดหายไปด้วยสำหรับชาวบ้านที่ยังคงมีฝีมือในการทอได้ประสบปัญหาทางด้านคุณภาพของผ้าที่ยังด้อยเมื่อเทียบกับผ้าของกลุ่มอื่นโดยเฉพาะกลุ่มไทยลาวส่วนใหญ่มีฐานะยากจนขาดเงินทุนในการผลิตการทอผ้านับเป็นหัตถกรรมอย่างหนึ่งที่ทำสืบต่อกันมาการทอผ้านับเป็นศิลปะอย่างหนึ่งที่ผู้เป็นช่างทอจะต้องมีความสามารถในการใช้สีของเส้นด้ายประกอบกันให้เกิดความสวยงาม
วัตถุประสงค์ของโครงงาน
1. เพื่อสืบค้นประวัติของผ้าไหมมากยิ่งขึ้น
2.ให้คนรุ่นหลังอนุรักษ์ผ้าไหม
3.เพื่อรณรงค์ให้คนรุ่นหลังหันมาศึกษาและเห็นความสำคัญของภูมิปัญญาไทย
4. เพื่อศึกษาประโยชน์การสร้างอาชีพเสริม
5.เพื่อรักษาลวดลายของผ้าไหม
สมมติฐานของโครงงาน
สมมิติฐานของการศึกษาเป็นทักษะระบวนการทางโครงงานต้องให้ความสำคัญเพราะจะทำให้เป็นการกำหนดแนวทางในการออกแบบการทดลองได้ชัดเจนและรอบครอบตามหลักการทฤษฎีการศึกษาของโครงงานที่ได้ทำมาแล้ว
ขอบเขตของโครงงาน

ประโยชน์ที่คาดว่าจะได้รับ
1.เพื่อให้เยาวชนได้รู้จักการทอผ้าไหมมากขึ้น
2.เพื่อเป็นแนวทางในการอนุรักษ์การทอผ้าไหม
3.คงจะเป็นรายได้เสริมให้คนในชุมชนได้
