พระพุทธไสยาสน์ เป็นพระนอนที่ไทยที่สุดในประเทศไทย การก่อสร้างพระพุทธไสยาสน์ ในปีพุทธศักราช ๒๔๑๓ โดย สมเด็จพระพุฒาจารย์ (โต พฺรหฺมรังสี) ก่อนที่เจ้าประคุณสมเด็จพุฒาจารย์โต จะมรณภาพ ๓ ปี สมเด็จฯโตมรณภาพเมื่อวันที่ ๒๒ มิถุนายน 2415 (ที่กรุงเทพฯ) ได้มาทำการก่อสร้างพระพุทธรูปก่ออิฐถือปูนปางพุทธไสยาสน์ ณ หมู่บ้านที่ถือกำเนิดที่วัดท่างาม ปัจจุบันคือ วัดสะตือ ตำบลท่าหลวง อำเภอท่าเรือ จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา ซึ่งองค์พระมีขนาดความยาว 52 เมตร สูง 16 เมตร กว้าง 9 เมตร ก่อด้วยอิฐถือปูน ได้มีการบูรณะซ่อมแซมมาแล้วถึง 6 ครั้ง เสร็จสิ้นในปี 2553 ปุจจุบันทางวัดได้จัดสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวใช้ประชาชนและชาวต่างมากราบไหว้ ขอพรและโชคลาภต่างๆ
