การวิจัยในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เพื่อพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 โรงเรียนโกสุมวิทยาสรรค์ จังหวัดมหาสารคาม โดยใช้บทเรียนออนไลน์ 2) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบทักษะการอ่านคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 โรงเรียนโกสุมวิทยาสรรค์ จังหวัดมหาสารคาม ก่อนและหลังใช้บทเรียนออนไลน์ โดยกำหนดเกณฑ์คือผู้เรียนร้อยละ 70 สามารถผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 ขึ้นไป กลุ่มเป้าหมาย คือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2558 โรงเรียนโกสุมวิทยาสรรค์ จำนวน 32 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ได้แก่ 1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้บทเรียนออนไลน์ รายวิชาภาษาอังกฤษพื้นฐาน จากหนังสือ New World หน่วยการเรียนรู้ที่ 4-7 รวม 4 แผน ใช้เวลาในการสอน 60 นาที ทั้งหมด 4 คาบ 2) แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนรู้ก่อนและหลังเรียน เป็นแบบที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้น จำนวน 80 ข้อ 3) สถิตที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล คือ ค่าเฉลี่ย ความเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบค่า t
