This research aims to apply how bee colony algorithm artificial to balancing production lines. The study was funded by the balancing type 1 which have defined working time and minimum station number using the answers of Scholl, A. (1993) compared the effectiveness of the results. This research has answered with development methods, the artificial bee colony algorithm (Artificial Bee Colony Algorithm) by three variables include the number of bees (N_bee), the maximum number of cycles (Max_it) and reset the limit (N_limit), and the parameters that are appropriate for the experiment is N_bee = 40, Max_it = 20000, N_limit = 40, by doing experiments.Examples include problems with Arcus 111 16 sessions, Arcus 83. The 17 sessions, Kilbridge Working session 10, Sawyer A total of eight working sessions, and Tonge, 16 sessions, as well as all the sub issues 67 problem. Experiments have been made can be found the answer with an example problem of sub issue approximately 70.15%
