งานนี้เป็นการทำงานร่วมกันระหว่างภาคีหลักคือ นักวิชาการ กลุ่มเครือข่ายเกษตรกรข้าวอินทรีย์ และกลุ่มเกษตรกรข้าวนาโยน ตั้งแต่การพัฒนาโจทย์วิจัย การเก็บข้อมูล การออกแบบและพัฒนา จนถึงการขยายผลไปสู่การใช้งานจริง โดยการนำองค์ความรู้ทางด้านวิศวกรรมคอมพิวเตอร์ผสานกับความรู้และประสบการณ์ของเกษตรกรในการโรยเมล็ดพันธุ์ข้าวสำหรับเพาะกล้านาโยน จนทำให้เกิดนวัตกรรมเครื่องโรยเมล็ดพันธุ์ข้าวนาโยนต้นแบบที่ประหยัดเวลา แรงงาน และเมล็ดพันธุ์ ซึ่งงานดังกล่าวผู้วิจัยได้นำมาพัฒนาเป็นผลงานวิชาการโดยการเขียนบทความวิจัยจำนวน 2 เรื่อง ได้แก่ เรื่องการออกแบบและพัฒนาเครื่องหยอดเมล็ดข้าวสำหรับการเพาะต้นกล้านาโยน ด้วยกระบวนการแบบมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชน นำเสนอในการประชุมงานวิจัยเพื่อพัฒนาเชิงพื้นที่ (Area-Based Collaborative Research) ณ มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยาและสำนักงานกองทุนสนับสนุนงานวิจัย และเรื่องการเพาะกล้านาโยนด้วยเครื่องหยอดเมล็ดข้าวควบคุมด้วยไมโครคอนโทรลเลอร์เพื่อการเพิ่มผลผลิต นำเสนอในการประชุมวิชาการระดับชาติและนานาชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏอุตรดิตถ์และมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏลำปางร่วมกับเครือข่ายบัณฑิตศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏภาคเหนือ โดยบทความวิจัยทั้ง 2 เรื่อง ได้นำไปใช้ยื่นขอตำแหน่งทางวิชาการ
