อนุสาวรีย์ครูบาศรีวิชัย

ตั้งอยู่ทางขึ้นดอยสุเทพ ก่อนถึงน้ำตกห้วยแก้ว ครูบาศรีวิชัยเป็นนักบุญแห่งล้านนาไทยผู้เป็นที่เคารพศรัทธาของชาวเชียงใหม่และประชาชนโดยทั่วไป ผู้ที่จะขึ้นดอยสุเทพมักจะแวะนมัสการอนุสาวรีย์ครูบาศรีวิชัยเพื่อความเป็นสวัสดิมงคล ครูบาศรีวิชัยเป็นผู้ริเริ่มชักชวนให้ประชาชนชาวเหนือร่วมแรงร่วมใจกีนสร้างถนนจากเชิงดอยขึ้นไปสู่วัดพระบรมธาตุดอยสุเทพ โดยเริ่มลงมือ เมื่อวันที่ 9 พฤศจิกายน 2477 แล้วเสร็จเมื่อ พ.ศ. 2478 รวมระยะทาง 10 กม. วัดพระธาตุดอยสุเทพราชวรวิหาร เดินทางตามถนนห้วยแก้ว ผ่านอนุสาวรีย์ครูบาศรีวิชัย ไปตามทางคดเคี้ยวขึ้นเขา ระหว่างทางจะมองเห็นตัวเมืองเชียงใหม่อยู้ด้านล่าง ระยะทางจากเชิงดอยถึงวัดประมาณ 11 กม. ใช้เวลาประมาณครึ่งชั่วโมง วัดพระธาตุดอยสุเทพนี้เป็นปูชนียสถานคู่เมืองเชียงใหม่ นักท่องเที่ยวซึ่งเดินทางมาที่จังหวัดนี้จะต้องขึ้นไปนมัสการพระบรมธาตุกันทุกคน หากใครไม่ได้ขึ้นไปนมัสการแล้ว ถือเสมือนว่ายังมาไม่ถึงเชียงใหม่ มีงานประเพณีสรงน้ำพระธาตุในวันเพ็ญวิสาขบูชาทุกปี
