เหตุผลที่เราเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแตกต่างกันเพราะกลุ่มตัวอย่างแต่ละกลุ่มมีการใช้ชีวิตและทัศนคติที่แตกต่างกัน
ในกลุ่มนักศึกษานั้นการไปเที่ยวอาจจะไม่ต้องการความสะดวกสบายมาก อีกทั้งยังมีเวลามาก จึงทำให้การเที่ยวนั้นไม่จำกัดวงแคบและเที่ยวได้หลากหลายรูปแบบ
แต่เมื่ออายุมากขึ้นการเที่ยวอาจจะต้องการความสะดวกสบายมากขึ้นเพราะเวลาที่มีจำกัด อีกทั้งยังไม่มีพลังงานมากพอในการเที่ยวแบบผจญภัย จึงมีข้อจำกัดมากขึ้น
เราจึงต้องการศึกษาว่าตัวอย่างแต่ละกลุ่มเข้าใจ Eco-Tourism มากน้อยเพียงใด
