การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อ 1) พัฒนาคู่มือการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะร่วมกับกระบวนการกลุ่ม ของกลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้วิทยาศาสตร์ของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ให้มีประสิทธิภาพ ประสิทธิผลตามเกณฑ์ที่กำหนด 2) เปรียบเทียบการคิดวิเคราะห์ก่อนและหลังได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้ด้วยคู่มือแบบสืบเสาะร่วมกับกระบวนการกลุ่ม
3)เปรียบเทียบการแก้ปัญหาก่อนและหลังได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้ด้วยคู่มือแบบสืบเสาะร่วมกับกระบวนการกลุ่ม 4) เปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนก่อนและหลังได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้ด้วยคู่มือแบบสืบเสาะร่วมกับกระบวนการกลุ่ม 5) เปรียบเทียบการคิดวิเคราะห์ การแก้ปัญหา และผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนของนักเรียน ที่มีความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ (สูง ปานกลาง และต่ำ) ต่างกัน หลังได้รับการสอนตามคู่มือการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะร่วมกับกระบวนการกลุ่ม ที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้น กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 โรงเรียนบ้านต้อนราษฎร์ดำรงวิทย์ สำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาสกลนคร เขต 1 ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2556 จำนวน 31 คน ซึ่งได้มาด้วยการสุ่มแบบเจาะจง (Purposive Sampling) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย
1) แบบวัดความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ 2) คู่มือการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะร่วมกับกระบวนการกลุ่ม 3) แบบทดสอบวัดการคิดวิเคราะห์ 4) แบบทดสอบวัดการแก้ปัญหา 5)แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ค่าประสิทธิภาพ (E1 / E2) ค่าดัชนีประสิทธิผล (E.I) สถิติทดสอบค่าที (t – testแบบ Dependent Samples) การวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนพหุคูณทางเดียว (One – way MANOVA) และความแปรปรวนทางเดียว (One – way ANOVA)
