๑.ความสำคัญเชิงทฤษฏี ผลการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ทำให้ได้รูปแบบการวางแผนกลยุทธ์ของสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษา ได้แก่ ๑)การเตรียมการ ๒)การศึกษาสถานภาพ ๓)การกำหนดทิศทาง ๔)การกำหนดกลยุทธ์ ๕)การดำเนินการตามแผน/การนำกลยุทธ์ไปปฏิบัติ และ ๖)การประเมินผล
๒.ความสำคัญเชิงปฏิบัติการ ผลการวิจัยครั้งนี้ สามารถนำไปเป็นรูปแบบการวางแผนกลยุทธ์ให้ผู้บริหารสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษา และสถานศึกษาในสังกัดใช้ในการวางแผนกลยุทธ์ในหน่วยงานของตนได้
