แบบฝึกหัดการส่งเสริมทักษะการอ่านคำศัพท์ เป็นแบบฝึกที่จะใช้ในการพัฒนาทักษะกระบวนการอ่านศัพท์ โดยแบ่งวิธีการอ่านออกเป็น 4 ขั้นตอนดังนี้คือ ขั้นตอนที่ 1และ 2 เริ่มทำการฝึกการเทียบเสียงพยัญชนะและสระภาษาอังกฤษเป็นภาษาไทยพร้อมทั้งทำแบบทดสอบ และขั้นตอนที่ 3 ฝึกการผสมสระและพยัญชนะภาษาอังกฤษแล้วอ่านเป็นภาษาไทยและอ่านคำศัพท์จากบัตรคำที่ผู้วิจัยได้คัดเลือกไว้พร้อมทั้งทำแบบทดสอบ และขั้นตอนที่ 4 ให้นักเรียนทำการฝึกการเขียนชื่อคน, สัตว์, ส่งของหรือสถานที่ภาษาไทยให้เป็นภาษาอังกฤษ พร้อมทั้งการอ่านออกเสียงให้เพื่อน ๆ ได้ยิน
