มุสลิมที่ดีนั้น คือ ผู้ที่ทำตนเองให้ดีก่อนที่จะเป็นแบบให้แก่ผู้อื่นหรือสอนผู้อื่น เขาจะพยายามทำมันให้สมบูรณ์ที่สุดในทุกๆแง่ของชีวิต ทั้งนี้เพื่อว่าอัลลอฮฺจะทรงพอพระทัยในตัวเขากับสิ่งที่เขาได้ทำไป เขาต้องคอยสำรวจตัวเองในแง่ต่างๆของตนอยู่เสมอ ไม่ว่าจะในด้านร่างกาย ด้านสติปัญญาและการพัฒนาความคิด ด้านจิตใจ และเขาจะไม่ปล่อยให้ตัวเองดูบกพร่องในแง่ใดแง่หนึ่งไป
