สารนิพนธ์ฉบับนี้นำเสนอ การศึกษาและพัฒนาบรรจุภัณฑ์สำหรับผลิตภัณฑ์เครื่องหอม “เก้ากลิ่นอยุธยา” จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา จากการสอบถามผู้ประกอบการปัญหาสำคัญที่พบคือ บรรจุภัณฑ์เดิมไม่มีกราฟิกดึงดูดความสนใจจากผู้บริโภค ขาดการบอกรายละเอียดของผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ละเอียด ชัดเจน ฉลากต้องมีชื่อผลิตภัณฑ์ ชื่อผู้ผลิตสถานที่ผลิตวิธีการเก็บรักษา และไม่มีตราสินค้า จากปัญหาดังกล่าวเป็นสาเหตุสำคัญที่ทำให้ต้องมีการพัฒนารูปแบบโครงสร้าง กราฟิก และรายละเอียดของผลิตภัณฑ์ กลุ่มผู้ให้ข้อมูลคือ ประธานกลุ่ม การศึกษาและพัฒนาบรรจุภัณฑ์สำหรับผลิตภัณฑ์เครื่องหอม “เก้ากลิ่นอยุธยา” จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา ผู้สนใจผลิตภัณฑ์ และผู้เชี่ยวชาญทั้ง 3 ด้านคือ ด้านโครงสร้างบรรจุภัณฑ์ ด้านกราฟิก และด้านชั้นวางสินค้า โดยเครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นแบบสัมภาษณ์และแบบสอบถาม ทำการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยร้อยละ และค่าเฉลี่ย
กลุ่มตัวอย่างในการวิจัย คือ กลุ่มนักท่องเที่ยวหรือกลุ่มบุคคลทั่วไป โดยแบ่งตามสถานที่ต่างๆ สวนจตุจักร จำนวน 50 คน ตลาดน้ำอโยธยา จำนวน 50 คน เครื่องมอที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็น แบบสอบถามเกี่ยวกับข้อมูลพื้นฐานของบุคคลทั่วไป แบบสอบถามผู้เชี่ยวชาญ แบบสอบถามประเมินความพึงพอใจด้านโครงสร้างและกราฟิก และรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติวิเคราะห์ค่าร้อยละ โดยนำเสนอในรูปแบบความเรียง จากผลการศึกษาพบว่า กลุ่มเป้าหมาย (กลุ่มนักท่องเที่ยวหรือกลุ่มบุคคลทั่วไป โดยแบ่งตามสถานที่ต่างๆ สวนจตุจักร จำนวน 50 คน ตลาดน้ำอโยธยา จำนวน 50 คน) ร้อยละ 59 ต้องการให้ใช้วัสดุที่นำมาใช้ในการบรรจุภัณฑ์ คือ กระดาษ ร้อยละ 50 ผู้สนใจผลิตภัณฑ์มีความต้องการพัฒนาบรรจุภัณฑ์ คือ แข็งแรง ทนทาน ปกป้องสินค้าได้ดี ร้อยละ 98 ต้องการให้มีกราฟิกบนบรรจุภัณฑ์ ร้อยละ 40 บรรจุภัณฑ์เครื่องหอม “เก้ากลิ่นอยุธยา”ควรคำนึกถึงความสวยงามสะดุดตาเป็นอันดับแรก ร้อยละ 82 แสดงให้เห็นว่าผู้ที่สนใจในผลิตภัณฑ์ส่วนใหญ่เห็นว่าควรเรียงซ้อนกันได้
