ประชากรที่ใช้ในงานวิจัยครั้งนี้คือ นักศึกษาพยาบาลศาสตรบัณฑิต วิทยาลัยพยาบาลบรมราชชนนี สุราษฎร์ธานี ทุกชั้นปี ตั่งแต่ชั้นปีที่1 ถึงชั้นปีที่ 4 จำนวน 494 คน ทุกเพศ ในปีการศึกษา 2559
2. ขอบเขตด้านพื้นที่
การวิจัยครั้งนี้ทำวิจัยในพื้นที่ของวิทยาลัยพยาบาลบรมราชชนนี สุราษฎร์ธานี อำเภอเมืองฯ จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี
3. ขอบเขตด้านเวลา
การทำวิจัยครั้งนี้ดำเนินการในภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2559
4. ขอบเขตด้านตัวแปร ตัวแปรที่ใช้ในการทำวิจัยครั้งนี้ ได้แก่
(1) ตัวแปรต้น คือ การแก้ไขปัญหาเชิงสร้างสรรค์
(2) ตัวแปรตาม คือ ความสามารถในการแก้ไขปัญหาเชิงสร้างสรรค์
5. ขอบเขตด้านเนื้อหา ผู้วิจัยทำการเรื่องความสามารถในการแก้ไขปัญหาเชิงสร้างสรรค์ของนักศึกษาพยาบาลศาสตรบัณฑิต วิทยาลัยพยาบาลบรมราชชนนี สุราษฎร์ธานี เพื่อให้เนื้อหามีความสอดคล้องกับวัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัย ผู้วิจัยทำการแบ่งเนื้อหาออกเป็น 2 ตอน ดังนี้
