1. การเตรียมความพร้อมให้ผู้เรียนก่อนทำการสอนโดยการปฐมนิเทศเกี่ยวกับวิธีการออกเสียงพยัญชนะและสระภาษาอังกฤษแบบโฟนิกส์ก่อน เพื่อให้ผู้เรียนได้เตรียมความพร้อมที่จะเรียนและได้รับประโยชน์จากการเรียนการสอนและทำกิจกรรมทางภาษาได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
2. ในการเตรียมเนื้อหาบทเรียน ควรมีเนื้อเรื่องให้นักเรียนได้อ่านเพื่อช่วยพัฒนาทักษะในการอ่าน และเป็นการส่งเสริมและปลูกฝังนิสัยรักการอ่านอีกด้วย
