ปัจจุบันเวียดนามให้ความร่วมมือกับสมาชิกสภาความร่วมมือด้านข้าว ซึ่งประกอบด้วยประเทศผู้ส่งออกข้าวรายใหญ่ของโลก 5 ประเทศ ได้แก่ ไทย จีน เวียดนาม อินเดีย และปากีสถาน
