กรมศาสนา กระทรวงวัฒนธรรม ร่วมกับคณะสงฆ์ เตรียมงานจัดสวดมนต์ข้ามปี ทุกที่ทั่วไทย อิ่มใจได้บุญ ในโครงการส่งท้ายปีเก่า วิถีไทย ต้อนรับปีใหม่ วิถีพุทธและวิถีธรรม เพื่อถวายเป็นพระราชกุศล แด่ พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว โดยร่วมกับวัด 12 วัด ที่สำคัญ เพื่อสวดมนต์ข้ามปี ได้แก่ วัดปากน้ำ วัดบวรนิเวศ วัดสุทัศน์เทพวราราม วัดยานนาวา วัดไตรมิตร วัดเบญจมบพิตร วัดปทุมวนาราม วัดราชาธิวาส วัดอรุณราชวราราม วัดชนะสงคราม วัดพระเชตุพนวิมลมังคลาราม และ วัดสระเกศ และยังมีวัดอื่นอีก 216 วัด ร่วมจัดงาน คาดว่าจะมีประชาชนกว่า 3,500,000 คน เข้าร่วมปฏิบัติธรรมและสวดมนต์ข้ามปี
