This week is the week of New Year h

This week is the week of New Year holiday. We had three assignments . For the topic for this week is Celebration New Year in Thai style. Celebration New Year in Thai style have many activities , such as make merit at the temples , offer the foods or things for the monk in the morning at home or temple, pray at home or temple , have dinner together at home with family. but some activity we don’t know it’s Thai style such as dinner together at home with family. These activities are Celebration New Year in Thai style.




For me I celebrate New Year by make merit at the temple. 1st January 2016 Early Morning ,I went to Phratad Nong Bua Temple. I saw a lot of people went to make merit there with their families.They wait for make merit and offer foods things flowers candles and incense to the monk for retial of religion . I had bring my Singapore friend go there also, because she also Buddhism. She is very fresh and feel good when she pray and make merit .Actually , it’s a little bit different style when they do in their temple. But the same things that we did are , we are go there for pray respect to the Buddha and pray for peace , good things in our life friends and our family. And I had offer things to the monk also , this is Thai culture in religion way. We believe that we will happy , good luck, good in working and life. In the 31stDecember 2015 night. They also have the activity for counting down to new year in Thai style by pray from 31st December until 1st January Early morning. They believe that it is praying across the year from 2015 to 2016. For the important things that we bring to make merit such as flowers candle and incense. These things have meaning in it. For flowers mean for respect to the monk , two candle mean the lighter of knowledge and navigate to the people to live properly. A tract has been path. And the incense mean 3 incense for worship to three of the Buddha Pra Punyakun Pra Wisuttikun and Pra Mahakarunakun.



Celebration New Year in Thai style , I had realize that it is good that we have the activities like this. It make everybody peace and know to giving . Giving things ,foods, love , kind and others good things.It will good if everyone have mind set like this and stay together with happiness.
