การวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อ 1) ศึกษาพฤติกรรมและผลกระทบการใช้เครือข่ายสังคมออนไลน์ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายโรงเรียนพยุห์วิทยา จังหวัดศรีสะเกษ 2) เปรียบเทียบผลกระทบการใช้เครือข่ายสังคมออนไลน์ ต่อนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย โรงเรียนพยุห์วิทยา จังหวัดศรีสะเกษ ประชากร คือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย ปีการศึกษา 2559 โรงเรียนพยุห์วิทยา อำเภอพยุห์ จังหวัดศรีสะเกษ จำนวน 202 คน กลุ่มตัวอย่างได้มาจากการสุ่มอย่างง่าย โดยใช้สูตรของ ทาโร ยามาเน่ จำนวน 134 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล ได้แก่ แบบสอบถามเกี่ยวกับการศึกษาพฤติกรรมการใช้เครือข่ายสังคมออนไลน์ และผลกระทบต่อนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย โรงเรียนพยุห์วิทยา อำเภอพยุห์ จังหวัดศรีสะเกษ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้ค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ความตรงเชิงเนื้อหา ความเชื่อมั่น
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย โรงเรียนพยุห์วิทยา อำเภอพยุห์ จังหวัดศรีสะเกษ (1) ได้รับผลกระทบของเครือข่ายสังคมออนไลน์ด้านอารมณ์ อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง (2) ได้รับผลกระทบของเครือข่ายสังคมออนไลน์ด้านสังคม อยู่ในระดับน้อย (3) ได้รับผลกระทบของเครือข่ายสังคมออนไลน์ด้านการเรียน อยู่ในระดับน้อย
