หลวงปู่เสาร์ กนฺตสีลเถร ได้บุกเบิกเสริมสร้างขึ้นเป้นวัดธรรมยุต เมื่อ พ.ศ.2534 ในรัชกาลที่ 5 ภายในมีพระครูวิเวกพุทธกิจ (เสาร์) เป้นเจ้าอาวาส พร้อมด้วยภิกษุ สามเณร ภายนอกมีพระอุบลการประชานิจ (บุญชู พรหมวงศานนท์) พระสุรพลชยากร (อุ่น) ท้าวกรมช้างทองจัน และสังการีจารปัจฌา สังการีจารเกษ และทายิกา ได้พร้อมกันมีศรัทธาขยายพื้นที่วัดเพิ่มเติม โดยสร้างรั้วรอบวัด เสนาสนะและถาวรวัตถุ
