อุทยานแห่งชาติแหลมสน

อำเภอละอุ่น จ.ระนอง
อุทยานแห่งชาติแหลมสน ได้รับการประกาศเป็นอุทยานแห่งชาติ เมื่อวันที่ 19 สิงหาคม 2526 มีเนื้อที่ทั้งหมด 196,875 ไร่ ประกอบด้วยพื้นที่ริมทะเลตั้งแต่ ตำบลราชกรูด อำเภอเมือง ลงไปทางใต้ ผ่านตำบล.ม่วงกลาง ตำบลกะเปอร์ ตำบลบางหัน ตำบลนาคา อำเภอกะเปอร์ จังหวัดระนอง เลยไปถึง ตำบลคุระ อำเภอคุระบุรี จังหวัดพังงา และครอบคลุมถึงเกาะต่างๆ ในทะเลอันดามันคือ เกาะค้างคาว หมู่เกาะกำ สำหรับที่ทำการอุทยานตั้งอยู่ที่หาดบางเบน หมู่ที่ 4 ต.ม่วงกลาง ห่างจากจังหวัดระนองไปตามทางหลวงหมายเลข 4 (ระนอง-พังงา) ระยะทาง 45 กิโลเมตร และห่างจาก อำเภอกะเปอร์ 6 กิโลเมตร บริเวณกิโลเมตรที่ 657 จะมีทางแยกขวามือเป็นทางลูกรังประมาณ 10 กิโลเมตร

อุทยานมีภูมิอากาศสองแบบคือ ฤดูฝนซึ่งมีฝนตกชุกระหว่างเดือนพฤษภาคม-พฤศจิกายน และฤดูร้อนระหว่างเดือนธันวาคม-เมษายน

อุทยาน มีสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวน่าสนใจ ได้แก่

หาดบางเบน เป็นหาดทรายยาวและกว้างใหญ่ มีทรายละเอียด ร่มรื่นด้วยป่าสนธรรมชาติ บริเวณชายหาดจะมองเห็นเกาะแก่งในทะเลได้อย่างสวยงาม และเป็นที่ตั้งของที่ทำการอุทยาน

หาดแหลมสน อยู่ถัดจากหาดบางเบนประมาณ 4 กิโลเมตร มีหาดทรายขาวสะอาด และเป็นที่อยู่ของนกนานาชนิด เหมาะสำหรับไปตั้งแค้มป์ดูนก

หาดประพาส หรือหาดหินทุ่ง ตั้งอยู่หมู่ที่ 2 ตำบลกำพวน จากเขตเทศบาลเมืองระนองไปตามทางหลวงหมายเลข 4 (ระนอง-พังงา) ประมาณ 90 กิโลเมตร หรือจากอำเภอกะเปอร์ราว 30 กิโลเมตร ถึงหลักกิโลเมตรที่ 702 แล้วแยกขวาไปตามถนนลูกรังอีกราว 3 กิโลเมตร ก็จะถึงบริเวณหน่วยพิทักษ์อุทยานริมหาดประพาส หาดประพาสเป็นชายหาดใหญ่ มีทิวสนร่มรื่นเช่นเดียวกับหาดบางเบน

เกาะค้างคาว เป็นเกาะที่มีหาดทรายขาวละเอียด ด้านเหนือของเกาะเป็นหาดหินงาม มีหินทรงกลมมนเรียงรายอยู่เต็มหาดไปหมด จากหาดบางเบนนั่งเรือไปเกาะค้างคาวใช้เวลาประมาณ 40 นาที

เกาะกำตก หรือเกาะอ่าวเขาควาย มีอ่าวที่โค้งเกือบเป็นรูปกลม เป็นที่ตั้งของหน่วยพิทักษ์อุทยานฯ ซึ่งเป็นหน่วยย่อยที่ดูแลและอำนวยความสะดวกแก่นักท่องเที่ยว จากเกาะค้างคาวนั่งเรือไปเกาะกำตกใช้เวลาประมาณ 20 นาที

บ่อน้ำร้อน-สวนสาธารณะรักษะวาริน อยู่ห่างจากเขตเทศบาลเมืองระนองไปตามเส้นทางหลวงหมายเลข 4005 ห่างจากศาลากลางจังหวัดไปทางทิศตะวันออก ประมาณ 2 กิโลเมตร ในปี พ.ศ.2433 พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าจุลจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว (รัชกาลที่ 5) เสด็จประพาสเมืองระนอง ได้พระราชทานชื่อถนนที่จะไปยังบ่อน้ำร้อนว่า “ถนนชลระอุ” บ่อน้ำร้อนซึ่งเกิดขึ้นเองตามธรรมชาตินี้มีอยู่ 3 บ่อ คือ บ่อพ่อ บ่อแม่และบ่อ ลูก ทั้ง 3 บ่อมีอุณหภูมิสูงประมาณ 65 องศาเซลเซียส สามารถใช้ดื่มและอาบได้ มีประโยชน์ต่อร่างกายในแง่การบำบัดรักษาสุขภาพ นอกจากนี้ยังถือเป็นน้ำบริสุทธิ์ จึงเป็นแหล่งหนึ่งที่นำไปผ่านพิธีพุทธาภิเษก ทำน้ำศักดิ์สิทธิ์เพื่อใช้เป็นน้ำพระพุทธมนต์ในคราวพระราชพิธีฉลองพระชนมพรรษา ครบ 5 รอบ ของพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว นอกจากนั้นบริเวณใกล้ ๆ บ่อน้ำร้อนได้จัดเป็นสวนสาธารณะ “รักษะวาริน” มีศาลาที่พักและห้องอาบน้ำร้อนไว้บริการด้วย


น้ำตกปุญญบาล

อำเภอเมือง จ.ระนอง
น้ำตกปุญญบาล เดิมชื่อน้ำตกเล็ดตะกวด ตั้งอยู่หมู่ที่ 1 ตำบลบางนอน ริมทางหลวงหมายเลข 4 ทางไปจังหวัดชุมพร กิโลเมตรที่ 597 จะเห็นน้ำตกอยู่ด้านขวามือ สูงประมาณ 20 เมตร เหมาะสำหรับนักท่องเที่ยวแวะพักผ่อน มีบริเวณที่จอดรถ ร้านอาหาร ร้านขายของที่ระลึก
