การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงสำรวจเกี่ยวกับทัศนคติและพฤติกรรมของนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 3 เอกวิชาภาษาอังกฤษมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ที่มีต่อวิชาร้อยแก้ว
การวิเคราะห์ทัศนคติและพฤติกรรมในครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสำรวจทัศนคติและพฤติกรรมการเรียนวิชาร้อยแก้วของนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 3 เอกภาษาอังกฤษ คณะมนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ ปีการศึกษา 2558 ที่มีต่อวิชาร้อยแก้ว เพื่อนำข้อมูลให้มหาวิทยาลัยใช้ประกอบการพัฒนาและปรับปรุงการให้นักศึกษาประสิทธิภาพด้านการเรียนและมีทัศนคติที่ดีต่อวิชาร้อยแก้ว กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษาเป็นนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 3 เอกภาษาอังกฤษ คณะมนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 40 คน
เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บข้อมูลเป็นแบบสอบถาม เพื่อสำรวจทัศนคติและพฤติกรรมของนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 3 เอกภาษาอังกฤษ คณะมนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ ปีการศึกษา 2558 ที่มีต่อวิชาร้อยแก้ว ซึ่งแบบสอบถามแบ่งออกเป็น 3 ตอน คือ ตอนที่ 1 ข้อมูลทั่วไปของผู้ตอบแบบสอบถาม ตอนที่ 2 ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับทัศนคติที่นักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 3 เอกวิชาภาษาอังกฤษมีต่อการเรียนวิชาร้อยแก้ว ตอนที่ 3 ข้อมูลพฤติกรรมของนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 3 เอกวิชาภาษาอังกฤษมีต่อการเรียนวิชาร้อยแก้ว การเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลได้ดำเนินการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล โดยแจกแบบสอบถามให้แก่นักศึกษาเอกภาษาอังกฤษ คณะมนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ เมื่อได้ข้อมูลแบบสอบถาม ทำการประมวลผลการวิเคราะห์ด้วยโปรแกรมทางสถิติ โดยใช้ค่าสถิติ คือ ค่าความถี่ อัตราส่วนร้อย ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน
