อำเภอจอมบึงเป็นอำเภอหนึ่งในจำนวน 9 อำเภอของจังหวัดราชบุรี อยู่ห่างจากตัวจังหวัดไปทางทิศตะวันตกเป็นระยะทาง 30 กิโลเมตร โดยทางหลวงแผ่นดิน สายราชบุรี - จอมบึง
