ระบบการเรียนการสอนของมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ได้เปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาสามารถเลือกศึกษาวิชาจากคณะอื่นๆที่ตนเองสนใจได้ แต่นักศึกษาส่วนใหญ่มักจะเรียนตามเพื่อน ขาดแรงจูงใจในการวางแผนการศึกษาด้วยตัวเอง ทำให้พลาดโอกาสในการเรียนรายวิชาที่สนใจ กลุ่มผู้ดำเนินโครงงานเห็นปัญหาเหล่านี้ จึงพัฒนาระบบ”เซนส์ สเคดดูล” ซึ่งทำหน้าที่อำนวยความสะดวกและแสดงผลแผนการศึกษาโดยใช้เทคโนโลยีเรียลเซนส์
การพัฒนาระบบเซนส์ สเคดดูล ประกอบด้วย 4 ส่วน ดังนี้ ส่วนที่หนึ่งคือส่วนจัดการฐานข้อมูล การกำหนดรูปแบบไฟล์ที่จะนำข้อมูลเข้าและส่วนติดต่อกับผู้ใช้เพื่อให้ผู้ดูแลฝ่ายวิชาการของภาควิชาสามารถนำข้อมูลเข้าได้ ส่วนที่สองคือส่วนต่อประสานกับผู้ใช้ โดยใช้ Intel Perceptual Computing SDK ซึ่งนักศึกษาสามารถสั่งงานระบบด้วยท่าทางและเสียงได้ ส่วนที่สามคือส่วนอำนวยความสะดวกในการวางแผนแผนการเรียนตลอดหลักสูตรและแสดงผลตารางเรียนในแต่ละภาคเรียน และส่วนที่สี่คือส่วนการสร้างแฟ้มข้อมูลเพื่อเก็บแผนการศึกษาของนักศึกษาในรูปแบบ XML
ระบบเซนส์ สเคดดูล ช่วยให้นักศึกษาสามารถวางแผนการศึกษาของตนเองได้สะดวกขึ้น ช่วยจัดสรรเวลาเรียนที่เหมาะสมสำหรับรายวิชาที่นักศึกษาไม่ผ่านเกณฑ์มาให้ ทำให้นักศึกษาเกิดแรงจูงใจและกระตือรือร้นในการวางแผนการศึกษาด้วยตนเองมากขึ้น
