ด้วยคณะกรรมการนโยบายพลังงานแห่งชาติ ในการประชุมครั้งที่ ๑/๒๕๕๗ (ครั้งที่ ๑๔๖)
เมื่อวันที่ ๒๒ ตุลาคม ๒๕๕๗ ให้มีการรับซื้อไฟฟ้าจากการผลิตไฟฟ้าพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์ที่ติดตั้งบนหลังคา
(Solar PV Rooftop) ในรูปแบบ Feed-in Tariff ประเภทบ้านอยู่อาศัย
อาศัยอำนาจตามความในมาตรา ๑๑ (๔) แห่งพระราชบัญญัติการประกอบกิจการพลังงาน
พ.ศ. ๒๕๕๐ และมติคณะกรรมการกำกับกิจการพลังงาน ในการประชุมครั้งที่ ๖๑/๒๕๕๗ (ครั้งที่ ๓๑๐)
เมื่อวันที่ ๒๖ ธันวาคม พ.ศ. ๒๕๕๗ คณะกรรมการกำกับกิจการพลังงานจึงออกระเบียบไว้ ดังต่อไปนี้
ข้อ ๑ ระเบียบนี้เรียกว่า “ระเบียบคณะกรรมการกำกับกิจการพลังงาน ว่าด้วยการรับซื้อไฟฟ้า
จากการผลิตไฟฟ้าพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์ที่ติดตั้งบนหลังคา (สำหรับการรับซื้อไฟฟ้าเพิ่มให้ครบ ๑๐๐ เมกะวัตต์)
