งานวิจัยฉบับนี้เป็นการศึกษาแนวทางการพัฒนาการให้บริการโครงข่ายโทรทัศน์ภาคพื้นดินในระบบดิจิตอลของกองทัพบก การศึกษาในครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงผสมผสาน โดยการใช้แบบสอบถาม และการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกจากผู้เชี่ยวชาญ ผู้บริหาร และเจ้าหน้าที่ฝ่ายโครงข่ายโทรทัศน์ระบบดิจิตอล สถานีวิทยุโทรทัศน์ รวมทั้งการวิเคราะห์ เอกสารที่เกี่ยวข้อง เพื่อศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบันการติดตั้ง การขยายโครงข่ายและการให้บริการโครงข่ายโทรทัศน์ภาคพื้นดินในระบบดิจิตอลของกองทัพบก เป็นแนวทางในการพัฒนาการให้บริการ
สรุปผลการวิจัย การขยายโครงข่ายมีความสัมพันธ์กับแนวทางการพัฒนาที่ระดับเกณฑ์การวิเคราะห์ที่กำหนดไว้ และสภาพการให้บริการโครงข่ายในปัจจุบันทั้ง 4 ด้านมีความสัมพันธ์กับแนวทางการพัฒนาการให้บริการในเชิงบวกสภาพการให้บริการโครงข่ายในปัจจุบันทั้ง 4 ด้านดังนี้ การติดตั้งอุปกรณ์เครื่องมือมีความทันสมัย,การขยายโครงข่ายสามารถดำเนินการเป็นไปตามแผนของ กสทช.ที่กำหนดคือสถานีหลักจำนวน 39 สถานี สถานีเสริมจำนวน 45 สถานี และการให้บริการของช่องรายการมีความเหมาะสมในส่วนของแนวทางการพัฒนาการให้บริการด้าน ๆ ได้เตรียมอุปกรณ์สามารถดำเนินการได้ตามแผนงานของ กสทช.มีความพร้อมของระบบในทุก ๆ ส่วน
