ASEAN (ASEAN, Association of South East Asian Nations) or the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. Was established by the Bangkok Declaration (Bangkok Declaration) on August 8, 2510, with an initial membership of ASEAN 5 countries namely Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines. Later, a country would join an additional five countries, namely, Brunei, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia, respectively. There are 10 countries in ASEAN countries such as the present.
