การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาแนวทางการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการจัดเก็บภาษีท้องถิ่นขององค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลโนนยอ อำเภอชุมพวง จังหวัดนครราชสีมาและเพื่อเปรียบเทียบแนวทางการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการจัดเก็บภาษีท้องถิ่นขององค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลโนนยอ อำเภอชุมพวง จังหวัดนครราชสีมา จำแนกตามปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล และศึกษาปัญหาและอุปสรรคในการจัดเก็บภาษีท้องถิ่นขององค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลโนนยอ อำเภอชุมพวง จังหวัดนครราชสีมา ประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ประชาชนผู้มีหน้าที่ชำระภาษีในเขตองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลโนนยอ อำเภอชุมพวง จังหวัดนครราชสีมาประจำปี 2558 จำนวน 1,080 คน กำหนดขนาดของกลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยการใช้สูตรกำหนดขนาดตัวอย่าง ได้จำนวนกลุ่มตัวอย่าง 292 คน และสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบอย่างง่าย เครื่องมือที่ใช้รวบรวมข้อมูล คือ แบบสอบถามเพื่อใช้ในการวิจัย สถิติที่ใช้วิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานและค่าt-test, f-test
