ในกลุ่มนักศึกษานั้นการไปเที่ยวอาจจะไม่ต้องการความสะดวกสบายมาก อีกทั้งยังมีเวลามาก จึงทำให้การเที่ยวนั้นไม่จำกัดวงแคบและเที่ยวได้หลากหลายรูปแบบ
แต่เมื่ออายุมากขึ้นการเที่ยวอาจจะต้องการความสะดวกสบายมากขึ้นเพราะเวลาที่มีจำกัด อีกทั้งยังไม่มีพลังงานมากพอในการเที่ยวแบบผจญภัย จึงมีข้อจำกัดมากขึ้น
